İnsan epidermoid larinks karsinom (HEp-2) hücre serisinde resveratsol'ün apoptotik etkisi

bileşik olarak, üzüm, fındık, kırmızı şarap ve çeşitli yiyeceklerde çok bulunmaktadır. Resveratrol, antiinflamatör, antioksidan ve antikanser özellikleri vardır. Bu çalışmada İnsan Epidermoid Larinks HEp-2 hücre serisinde, resveratrolün apoptotik etkilerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: İnsan Epidermoid Larinks kanseri HEp-2 hücre serileri üretildi ve sonra farklı doz ve sürelerde resveratrolün etkisine maruz bırakıldı. Daha sonra apoptotik hücre ölümleri, yapısal değişiklikler DNA fragmantasyon metotları ile belirlendi. Bulgular: Resveratrolün doz ve süreye bağımlı olarak HEp-2 hücre dizilerinde hücre ölümünü uyardığı, morfolojik ve internükleosomal DNA fragmantasyon deneyleri ile gösterildi. Sonuç: Resveratrolün HEp-2 hücre dizilerinde apoptotik etkisi, belirli kanser türlerindeki tedavilerde yardımcı olabileceğini göstermektedir.

The apoptotic effect of resveratrol on human epidermoid larynx carcinoma cell line HEp-2

EPIDERMOID LARYNX CARCINOMA CELL LINE HEp-2 Purpose: Resveratrol (trans-3,4’,5-trihydroxystilbene) is a naturally occurring polyphenolic compound highly enriched in grapes, nuts, red wine, and a wide variety of food sources. Resveratrol has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anticancer properties. In this study, Human Epidermoid Larynx HEp-2 cell lines were used to examine the apoptotic effect of resveratrol. Materials and Methods: Human Epidermoid Larynx HEp-2 cell lines were cultured and then exposed to different concentrations of resveratrol for various periods. After treatments, apoptotic cell deaths were determined using morphological changes and DNA fragmentation methods. Results: Our data show that resveratrol induces dose- and time-dependent death of HEp-2 cells, as measured morphologically and by internucleosomal DNA fragmentation assay. Conclusion: Our data suggest that the apoptotic effect of resveratrol on HEp-2 cell lines may be useful for the treatment of certain types of cancer.
