Endoskopi ile tanı alan konjenital membranöz duodenal stenoz: İki yaşında Down sendromlu olgu
Duodenal stenoz ve atrezi, Down sendromlu hastalarda en sık görülen gastrointestinal sistem anomalisidir. Duodenal atrezi yaşamın ilk birkaç gününde bulgu verirken, duodenal stenoz daha ileri yaşlarda ortaya çıkabilir. Üst gastrointestinal sistem endoskopisi gastrointestinal sistem anomalilerinde tanı ve tedavi amaçlı kullanılabilen değerli bir yöntemdir. Burada üst gastrointestinal sistem endoskopisi ile 2 yaşında membranöz duodenal stenoz tanısı alan Down sendromlu olgu sunulmuştur.
Endoscopically diagnosed congenital membranous duodenal stenosis: A two-year-old boy with Down's syndrome
Duodenal stenosis and atresia are the most common gastrointestinal tract abnormalities seen in patients with Down's syndrome. Although duodenal atreşia presents within the first days of life, the presentation of duodenal stenosis may be delayed. Flexible upper gastrointestinal endoscopy is a valuable tool for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures concerning gastrointestinal abnormalities. We report a 2-year-old boy with Down's syndrome who had duodenal stenosis due to a membranous web and who was diagnosed using upper intestinal endoscopy.
