İbn Derrâc el-Kastalî’nin şiirinde methedilen portresi büyük bir öneme sahiptir. Özellikleprens, bakan, komutan ve yargıçlar gibi toplumun ve devletin önde gelenlerindenmethettiği grupların sayısı yirmi dokuzu bulmaktadır. This paper aims to study the image of praised in the poetry of Ibn Darraj Al-Qostoli.Firstly, it includes a concise presentation of the subject of this study, and so, It presentsthe linguistic and the terminological definition of the praise over all his chronological existenceexcept in Andalusia. After that, it stands beyond the life of Ibn Darraj and his timeand cultures, and even his praised poems. Finally, It shows the most important images ofpraise’s purposes, such as bravery and generosity of the kings and princes of the two families;Ameria and Tajiebit in the end of fourth century and the beginning of the fifth one.
