Din, Büyü, Sanat, Efsane'nin Ardındaki Kuramlar ve Kuramcılar: Bir Paralel Okuma Denemesi

Sedat Veyis Örnekin Türkiyedeki erken antropoloji çalışmalarını yakından etkilemiş100 Soruda İlkellerde Din, Büyü, Sanat, Efsane adlı eserinde, başta Alman olmak üzere birçokAvrupalı kuramcıdan ve kuramlarından söz edilmektedir. Bu araştırmacı ve kuramcıların kimlerolduğu sorusundan hareket eden bu makalede, adı geçen kuramlar, bu kuramlara mensup araştır- macıların görüşleri, çalışmaları ve kitaba nasıl yansıtıldıkları, kitabın genel kuramsal özellikleride dikkate alınarak incelenmektedir. Eserin 100 Soru sistemiyle yazılmış olması, sosyal antro- polojinin temel kavramlarının açıklanmasını, birçok kuramın aktarılmasını ve kimi araştırmasonuçlarının sunulmasını sağlamıştır. Eser, dönemin Alman antropoloji ve dinler tarihi çalışma- larının yanı sıra Almanca yayın ve çevirilerin aracılığıyla Hollanda, İsveç, İsviçre ve Rusya gibiülkelerdeki çalışmaları da aktarmaktadır.

Theories and Theorists Beyond Religion, Magic, Art, Myth in the Primitives: A Parallel Reading Essay

In the book of Sedat Veyis Ornek, Religion, Magic, Art, Myth in the Primitives in 100 Questi- on that influenced the early social anthropology studies in Turkey, mentiones the names of mostlyGermans and many other European researchers and theorists. This study which was carried outfrom the question of who are these researchers and theorists examines these theories and researc- hers referring to these theories, their ideas and their studies and how they are represented at thebook according to the theoretical characteristics of the book. 100 question system also providesthe explanation of many basic concepts in social anthropology, the expresion of many theories andthe presentation of some research results. This book features the German anthropology and thehistory of religions along with the other countries studies such as Netherlands, Sweden, Switzer- land and Soviet Russia by the German translations and publications.
