This paper deals with Mela Mahmudi Bazidi’s book “Conjugation of Kurdish Verbs” that waswritten in 1886 for teaching conjugation of verbs in kurmanji kurdish. Bazidi’s this study isone of the important studies as the others in Alexander Jaba’s collection. It is predominantlyabout the morphology of verb conjugation and includes more than twenty verb conjugations asexamples. The verbs are conjugated in terms of personal pronouns, past, future, present tensesand their negative forms, imperative, active and passive voice etc. Although his study considerablyconsists of verb conjugations, a small part of it mentions the kurmanji syntax and theconstituents of cluases.In this paper we analize both Bazidi’s language in which the book was writen and the topicsthat are mentioned in it.
