ALAIN BADIOU’NUN DÜŞÜNCESİNDE DEVLET VE SİYASET

Modern düşüncede siyaset ve devlet arasında ontolojik bir bağlantı vardır. Devlet ve siyaset arasında ontolojik bağlantı kurmak, devlet eylemleriyle siyasal etkinlikleri özdeşleştirmek anlamına gelir. Oysa çağdaş Fransız filozof Alain Badiou’nun düşüncesinde yönetsel aygıt olarak devlet ve siyaset farklı etkinliklerdir. Devlet ve siyaset birbirine indirgenemez. Devletten farklı bir mesele olarak siyaseti düşünen Badiou, devleti tanımlayarak devletin alanını belirler. Siyaseti, devletin merkezi ve belirleyicisi olmadığı eylemler bütünü olarak ortaya koyar. Badiou’nun düşüncesinde devlet ve siyaset ilişkisini ortaya koymayı amaçlayan bu çalışma genel olarak iki bölüme ayrılır. İlk bölümde Badiou’nun devlet fikrini tartışır. Bu fikri durum, boşluk ve durumun durumu olarak Badiou tarafından önerilen kavramlarla birlikte genişletir. Böylelikle Badiou’da devletin kapsamını belirler. İkinci bölümde devletten farklılaşan bir mesele olarak siyasete odaklanır. Siyasetin devletten nasıl farklılaştığını ortaya koymak üzere Badiou’nun siyasete yüklediği anlamları araştırır. Bu sebeple eksiltme siyaseti, siyasal olay nosyonlarına değinir. Devletin gücünü sabitleyen olaya devletin tepkisini açıklığa kavuşturur. Sonuçta bu çalışma, Badiou’nun siyasete nasıl eşitlikçi ve özgürlükçü bir değer verdiğini gösterir.

THE STATE AND POLITICS IN ALAIN BADIOU’S THOUGHT

There is an ontological connection between politics and the state in modern thought. Constructing an ontological relation between the state and politics means identifying the state actions with political activities. However, the state as an administrative apparatus and the politics are different activities. The state and politics can not be reduced to each other. Alain Badiou, who considers politics as a different issue from the state, determines the area of the state by describing the state. He puts forth the politics as a whole of actions in which the state is not central and determinant. This study, which aims to reveal the relationship between the state and the politics in Badiou’s thought, is generally divided into two parts. The first section discusses Badiou’s idea of the state. It expands this idea with the concepts such as state, void and the state of state which are proposed by Badiou. Thus, it determines the content of the state. The second section focuses on politics as a differentiating issue from the state. It explores the implications Badiou imposes on politics in terms of revealing how politics differs from the state. Therefore, it touches on notions such as the politics of subtraction, the political event. It clarifies the state’s reaction to the event that stabilizes the power of the state. As a result, this study shows how Badiou attributes egalitarian and emancipatory value to politics.
