Aydın cephesi Kuva-yı milliyesi için yürütülen iaşe ve ikmal faaliyetleri
Yunan işgal kuvvetlerine karşı direnişin başlatılmasından sonra hızla artan Kuva-yı Milliye birliklerinin iaşesi ciddi bir sorun haline gelmiştir. Başlangıçta iaşe konusu Tümene bağlı birliklerin iaşesinden karşılanmaya çalışılmışsa da, ilerleyen dönemde milli kuvvetlerin artmasıyla Tümen de bu konuda yeterli olamamıştır.Toplumun eli silah tutan kesimi cephede çarpışırken, geride kalanlar ise düşmana karşı seslerini duyurmak ve Kuva-yı Milliyenin ihtiyaçlarını karşılamak için Heyeti Milliyeler kurdular. Kuva-yı Milliyeciler kurulan bu Heyeti Milliyeler vasıtasıyla canla başla çalıştılar. Denizli Heyeti Milliyesi başta olmak üzere Burdur, İsparta, Eğridir, Muğla ve diğer Heyeti Milliyeler milli kuvvetlerin ihtiyaçlarının karşılanmasında hayati roller oynadılar. Kuva-yı Milliye önderleri ise efradın iaşesi için yürütülen bu faaliyetlerle birlikte, gerekli askeri ve idari makamlara müracaattan da geri durmadılar.Yunan ordusu karşısında başlatılan bağımsızlık mücadelesinde ikmal konusu da ayrı bir öneme sahip oldu. Yaralıların tedavisi, haberleşmenin ve nakil vasıtalarının temini hep zorluklar ve kıt imkanlar içinde gerçekleştirilebildi. Tüm sıkıntılara rağmen bu karanlık günler, vatanseverlerin gayretli çalışmaları neticesinde aşılabilirdi.
Subsıstence And Supply Actıvıtıes Implemented For The Natıonal Forces At The Aydın Front
Subsistence of the units of National Forces which rapidly increased after thecommencement of resistance against the Greek occupation forces became a serious problem.Although the subsistence issue was initially tried to be satisfied out of the subsistence of the unitsunder the Division, the Division was not sufficient in the matter when the number of the nationalforces increased in the forthcoming period.While a number of the people who can handle a weapon were fighting at the front, the restestablished National Committees in order to make themselves heard by the enemy and to satisfythe needs of the National Forces. National Revolutionists worked very hard through such NationalCommittees. With the Denizli National Committee leading the way, the Burdur, Isparta, Egirdir,Mugla and other National Committees played critical roles in the satisfaction of the needs of theNational Forces. The leaders of the National Forces did not fail to file any applications with competent military and administrative authorities while carrying out such activities implementedfor the subsistence of the individuals.The supply issue had a separate importance in the struggle for independence commencedagainst the Greek army. Treatment of the wounded, supply of communications and means oftransport could all be accomplished under difficulties and scarce resources. Despite all distresses,those dark days could be overcome as a result of the diligent efforts of the patriots.
