Border Disease Virusu ile Enfekte Bir Kuzuda Monosefaliyen Sefalotorakopagus Olgusu

Bu olgu sunumu, küçük ruminant sürülerinde kongenital anomalili yavruların doğumuna sebep olan Border Disease virusu taşıyan bir kuzuda Monosefaliyen Sefalotorakopagus olgusuna yönelik bulguları içermektedir. Sezaryen operasyonu yapılarak alınan yavrunun ölü, bir kafatası 8 bacağı, göğüs bölgesinden yapışık, her ikisi de dişi olan ikiz kuzu olduğu tespit edildi. Yapılan nekropsi muayenesinde; çift olarak şekillenen larinks kör olarak sonlanmış, trakea ve özefagusun şekillenmediği, üst damak yarığının olduğu her bir dişinin bir kornu uterisinin olmadığı görüldü. Koyunlarda anomalili yavru doğumlarına sebep olan Border Disease virusuna karşı koruyucu önlem olarak persiste hayvanların sürüden çıkarılması gerekir. Koyunlarda nadiren görülmesi sebebiyle yayınlanmasının faydalı olacağı kanaatine varıldı.

A Case of Monocephalien Cephalothoracopagus in a Lamb Infected with BorderDisease Virus

This case report includes the findings of a Monocephalien Cephalothoracopagus case in a lamb carrying Border Disease (BD) virus, which causes offspring with congenital anomalies in small ruminant herds. The fetus, which was taken by caesarean section, was found to be dead, a skull with 8 legs, conjoined from the chest area, both female. In the necropsy examination, it was observed that the larynx, which was formed in pairs, ended bluntly, the trachea and esophagus were not formed, and each tooth with a cleft of the upper palate did not have a cornu uterus. Persistent animals need to be removed from the herd as a preventive measure against border disease virus, which causes anomaly lamb births in sheep. Since it is a rare phenomenon, in sheep it was concluded that it would be useful to publish it.
