Nakil işlemine tabi tutulan koyunlarda vitamin C ve ksilazin uygulamasının kortizol ve lipid peroksidasyon ile bazı biyokimyasal parametrelere etkisi

Araştırmada nakil işlemine tabi tutulan Akkaraman ve Merinos ırkı koyunlara vitamin C ve ksilazin uygulanmasının kortizol ve lipid peroksidasyon düzeyleri ile bazı biyokimyasal parametrelere etkisinin belirlenmesi amaçlandı. Çalışmada yaklaşık 1 yaşlı, 12 baş Akkaraman ve 12 baş Merinos ırkı koyun kullanıldı. Her grupta 3 Akkaraman ve 3 Merinos koyunu olacak şekilde 4 grup oluşturuldu. Tüm hayvanlardan kan alındıktan sonra nakil öncesi kontrol (K) grubuna 1 ml fizyolojik tuzlu su (FTS) (i.m), vitamin C (C) grubuna 500 mg/kg vitamin C (i.m), ksilazin (X) grubuna 0,05 mg/kg ksilazin-HCl (i.m), vitamin C + ksilazin (CX) grubuna 0,05 mg/kg ksilazin-HCL + 500 mg/kg vitamin C (i.m) uygulandı. Uygulama sonrası nakil işlemi Konya'dan Afyonkarahisar'a olacak şekilde ortalama 60 km/saat hızla gerçekleştirildi. Nakil öncesi ve sonrası alınan kan örneklerinde kortizol, malondialdehit (MDA), glikoz, total kolesterol, trigliserit, total protein, hemoglobin ve hematokrit düzeyleri ölçüldü. The influence of vitamin C and xylazine on cortisol, lipid perioxidation and some biochemical parameters in transported sheep

The aim of this study was to assess the effects of vitamin C and xylazine on cortisol, lipid peroxidation and some biochemical parameters of sheep that were exposed to transport stres. The study was carried out on 12 Akkaraman and 12 Merino sheep aged 1 year old. Animals were allocated into 4 groups each containing 3 Akkaraman and 3 Merino sheep. Intramuscular administration of 1 ml saline solution to the control group (K); 500 mg/kg vitamin C to the vitamin C group (C); 0,05 mg/kg xylazine-HCl to the xylazine group (X); and 0,05 mg/kg xylazine- HCL+500 mg/kg vitamin C to the vitamin C + xylazine group (CX) were achieved.All groups were transported from Konya to Afyonkarahisar in a truck.
