Bu çalışmada, deprem etkisi altındaki yapıların titreşimlerini azaltmak için kullanılan taban izolasyonu, aktif ve pasif kontrol sistemlerinin tanıtımı yapılmaktadır. Taban izolasyon sistemleri ve pasif kontrol yöntemleri herhangi bir dış enerji kaynağına ihtiyaç duyulmadan enerji yutan sistemleri içermektedir. Aktif kontrol sistemleri ise, sistemde hazır bulundurulan dış enerji kaynakları kullanılarak yapıya daha önce belirlenen şekilde kontrol kuvvetlerinin uygulandığı sistemlerdir.

In this study, base isolation, active and passive control methods of structure are introduced to suppressed structural vibration of earthquake excited structure. The base isolation systems and the passive control methods are based on absorbing energy without being in need of external energy source where as the active control systems require external energy to perform vibration isolation of structures.
