GÜÇ VE KUVVET EGZERSİZLERİNİN ZİHİNSEL ENGELLİ ÇOCUKLARIN HAREKET BECERİ VE YETENEKLERİNE ETKİSİ

Araştırmanın amacı güç ve kuvvet egzersizlerinin zihinsel engelli çocukların hareket beceri ve  yeteneklerine etkisini saptamaktır. Araştırmaya her biri için kişisel bilgi formları hazırlanmış 9 kız ve 17 erkek zihinsel engelli çocuk katıldı. Durarak uzun atlama, dikey sıçrama, el-pençe kuvveti, şınav, düz mekik, ters mekik ve otur-kalk test maddeleri bir ön test programı içinde uygulandı. Sonra üç aylık bir egzersiz programı izlenerek aradaki farkı bulmak için son-test ölçümleri yapıldı. Çalışmalar haftada 2 gün ve günde 2 saat süreyle uygulandı. Verilerin ön ve son-test ölçümlerinde bağımlı Student-t test tekniği kullanılarak Wilcoxon test sonuçlarına göre anlamlılık düzeylerine bakıldı. Sonuç olarak, güç ve kuvvet egzersizlerinin zihinsel engelli çocukların sportif yeteneklerini, fiziksel performanslarını, gelişimlerini olumlu yönde etkilediği  görüldü.
