AKADEMİK VE YÖNETİMSEL LİDERLİK

Bu çalışmada, genel anlamda liderlik ve yönetici kavramları tartışılmış, akademik ve yönetimsel liderlik kav-ramları açıklanarak her iki liderlik türünün; farkları, görev ve sorumlukları, prensipleri ve liderlik pozisyonla-rı incelenmiştir. Yönetimsel liderlik; finans yönetimi, zaman ve kaynak yönetimi, insan kaynakları yönetimi, stratejik ve işlevsel planlama, kuralları uygulama, görev ve yetki dağıtımı gibi rolleri içeren bir liderlik türü iken, akademik liderlik; misyon, fikir üretme, takım çalışması yapma, yaptırma ve takım oluşturma, akade-mik yönetim, öğretim, bilim ve araştırma, eğitim programları ve öğrenci danışmanlığı gibi rolleri içeren bir liderlik türü olarak karakterize edilmiştir. Ayrıca eğitim kurumlarında görev yapan yöneticilerin, akademik ve yönetimsel liderlik becerilerine neden sahip olmaları gerektiği önemi üzerinde durulmuştur.
