Piperasilin/Tazobaktama Bağlı Kemik İliği Baskılanması ile Seyreden Bir Olgu Sunumu

Piperasilin/Tazobaktam (PT) beta-laktam gurubu bir antibiyotiktir. Kemik iliği baskılanması beta-laktam antibiyotiklerde nadiren görülen, istenmeyen bir yan etkidir. Bu olgu sunumunda, menisküs operasyonu sonrası yumuşak doku enfeksiyonu oluşan ve PT tedavisi verilen hastanın tedavisinin 16. gününde gelişen ateş, nötropeni ve trombositopeni tablosu sunulmuştur.

A Case Report of Bone Marrow Suppression Caused by Piperacillin/Tazobactam

Piperacillin / Tazobactam (PT) is a beta lactam group of antibiotics. Bone marrow suppression is rarely seen unwanted side effect of beta lactam antibiotics. In this case report, a clinical presentation of fever, neutropenia and thrombocytopenia in a patient on the 16 th day of PT therapy due to soft tissue infection after meniscus surgery.
