Müzik eğitimi gelişmeye açık, kültürel değerlerine önem veren bireylerin ve toplumların yaşantısında etken bir unsur olarak yer almıştır. Ülkemizde müzik eğitimi; amatör, mesleki ve genel müzik eğitimi olarak üç farklı adlandırma altında ama birbiriyle doğrudan ilişkili olarak sürdürülmektedir. Mesleki müzik eğitimi veren kurumların özel amaçları birbirlerinden ayrılsa da genel amaçları birbirleriyle örtüşmektedir. Ülkemizde lisans düzeyinde üç farklı okul türünde mesleki müzik eğitimi verilmektedir ve okulların felsefesinde içinde yaşadıkları toplumların ve şehrin kültürel değişim ve gelişimine sanat ve sanat eğitimi yoluyla destek olmak, katkı sağlamak, gelenekleri gelecek kuşaklara aktarmak, somut olan ve olmayan kültürel mirasları koruyup kollamak gelmektedir. Bu çalışmada; “şehir ve sanat ilişkisi”, “şehir ve müzik felsefesi ilişkisi”, “şehiryaşamında mesleki müzik eğitimi veren kurumların rolleri ve önemi” “müzik eğitimi ve kültürel miraslar” konuları üzerinde durulacaktır. Betimsel araştırma tekniği kullanılacak çalışmada; örnek olay incelemesi yoluyla Afyonkarahisar ilinin sosyo kültürel değişim ve gelişiminde Devlet Konservatuvarının rolü ve önemi incelenecektir. Bu amaçla 15 günde bir düzenlenen ve sanat ve toplum üzerine müzikli sohbetlerin gerçekleştirildiği “İhvan-ı Musiki” toplantılarına katılan bireylerle odak grup görüşme tekniği kullanılarak toplanan veriler nitel araştırma yöntemlerine göre analiz edilecektir. Odak grup görüşmesinde açık uçlu bir soru ile tartışma açılacak ve “sanat ve şehir ilişkisinde mesleki müzik eğitimi veren kurumların rolü” üzerinde konu irdelenecektir. Çalışmanın şehir ve sanat, şehir ve kültürel değişim alanlarında yapılan çalışmalara katkı sağlayacağı ve alanında özgün bir çalışma olduğu düşünülmektedir.

The individuals who are open to development of musical education, give the importance to the cultural values and societies` living, have been involved as an active element. Music education in ourcountry, the amateur, professional and general music education are three different innaming, but directly related to each other. Although the specific purposes of the institutions that give professional music education are ifferent, their general purposes overlap with eachother. Professional music is being trained at the under graduate level in three different types of school in our country. To support the development of art and art education, and the philosophy of the schools and the communities they live in the city through cultural exchange; to contribute and transfer to future generations the traditions, to protect tangible and intangible cultural heritage. This study concerns with "the city and the art association","relationship between the city and the philosophy of music", "city life and the role sand importance of professional music education institutions", "music education and cultural heritagea€. Study used descriptive research technique, through a casestudy of socio-cultural change and the development of the province of Afyon and the importance of the role of theState Conservatorywill be studied. For this purpose, 15 days out of a conversation held with art and community "-Ihvan- Musiki" meetings, By using the techniques of focus group interviews with individuals will be analyzed according to qualitative research methods. Focus group will discuss and examine the subjecton the open-ended questions "of Professional music education institution sand the role of the relationship of art andthecity". It is thought that the study will contribute to city and art, city and cultural exchange, and it is also thought that this study is originalone.
