Türkiye’de bankacılık sektörünün ekonomik büyümeye olan etkileri

Bu çalışma Türkiye’de bankacılık ve ekonomik büyüme arasındaki ilişkiye dair deneysel araştırmalara katkı yapmak amacındadır. Bu bağlamda statik ve dinamik çok değişkenli modeller ekonometrik olarak analiz edilmiştir. Temel alınan Ferreira’nin (2008) modeli, reel GSYİH ve reel GSYİH büyümesini açıklaya cak bazı bankacılık değişkenlerinin eklenmesiyle genişletilmiştir. Elde edilen so nuçlar, modellerde yer alan değişkenlerin reel GSYİH ve bunun büyüme oranını açıklamakta önemli olduklarını kanıtlamaktadır. Ayrıca bulgular bankacılık sektö rünü etkileyen finansal krizlerin önemini de göstermektedir.

The effects of banking sector on economic growth in Turkey

This paper aims to contribute to the empirical studies of the link between banking and economic growth in Turkey. In this context, static and dynamic multi-variable models analysis econometricaly. The existing model based on Ferreira (2008) was enhanced by introducing some banking variables to explain the real GDP and GDP growth. The results obtained confirm the importance of these variables to the real GDP and its growth. In adition, findings also show the importance of financial crisis that effect banking sector.
