Farabi'nin Felsefesi Sisteminde Tanrı'nın Bilgisi

In this article we deal with the issue of how God knows things outside His essence within the framework of al-Farabi views. To do that, we first point out al-Farabi's related views in accordance with his philosophical system. Then we discuss whether or not God knows the particulars in connection with the ideas of God's knowledge of His own essence, the divine nature of the Active Intellect's knowledge, and its relationship with the sublunary world. And finally we offer a critique of the criticisms leveled by al-Ghazali against the Muslim Peripatetics on this issue.
