The Place and Importance of the Concept of Juctice in Contemporary Philosophy

One of the main questions of philosophy is the question of "what is justice". Philosophers have generally described it such that everyone should get what he or she deserves. There is a close relationship between Justice and Democracy. Justice forms the ethical basis of many democratic theories. Both democracy and justice need fundamental principal of equality. A powerful equality sense is a foundation stone of social justice. Many philosophers, including Aristotle consider justice as the most important part of honesty. Justice must be considered as both individual and social virtue. Justice is the essence of democracy in the sense that the majority does not have a power by which it deprives the minority of their political rights.
