An unusual cause of maternal respiratory distress in postoperative-postpartum period: diaphragmatic hernia A

Diafragma hernileri gebelikleri çok nadiren komplike etmelerine rağmen özellikle cerrahi müdahalede ve tanıda gecikmelerin yaşanması halinde çok ciddi sonuçlar doğura bilirler. İlk gebeliğini sorunsuz olarak geçirmiş, 27 yaşındaki bir gebede sezaryen doğum sonrasında tanı alan bir diafragma herni olgusunu sunuyoruz. Bu vaka sunumu ile nadir rastlanılan bu cerrahi acil duruma kadın hastalıkları ve doğum uzmanlarının dikkatini çekmeyi amaçladık.

Postoperatif-postpartum dönemde maternal solunum sıkıntısının nadir bir nedeni olarak diayfargama hernisi

Diaphragmatic hernia complicating pregnancy is rare but it is associated with high complicated outcomes, particularly if surgi- cal intervention is delayed. We report a case of diaphragmatic hernia noticed after caesarean delivery in a pregnant 27-year-old women with a history of uneventful first pregnancy. We report this case to alert obstetricians to the possibility of this rare surgical emergency during pregnancy and peripartum period.
