Ortodonti’de ağrının önemi
Ağrı en genel anlamda, sıkıntı verici, hoşa gitmeyen duysal ve duygusal bir deneyim olup, kültürel değerler, anksiyete, dikkat, telkin ve geçmiş deneyimlere bağlı olarak değişim gösterebilmektedir. Ortodontik tedavi gören hastaların çoğunun tedavinin bazı safhalarında rahatsızlık duydukları bilinmektedir. Bu rahatsızlık duygusu çoğunlukla dişlerde basınç hissi, hassasiyet ve ağrı şeklinde olabilmektedir. Ağrı korkusu hastaların ortodontik tedavi görme isteklerini olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir. Bu derlemenin amacı, ağrı şikayeti ile ilgili bilgi vermek ve ortodontik tedavilerde karşılaşılabilen ağrı sebeplerinden bahsetmektir
Importance of Pain in Orthodontics
Pain is an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with cultural values, anxiety, inspiration and previous experiences. It has been declared that most orthodontic patients experience pain during treatment. The frequent complaints are discomfort, sensitivity and pain from teeth. The unpleasant feeling of pain has an adverse effect on patients’ attitude towards orthodontic treatment.
