Türkiye Genelinde Sığır Leptospira Setoriplerinin Dağılımının Saptanması ve Leptospirozis'e Karşı Bir Aşı Denemesi Üzerine Çalışmalar

Türkiye genelinde leptospirozis prevelansını belirlemek amacıyla, 73 ilden 15596 adet sığır serumu MAT ile test edilmiş ve bunlardan 1254 adedi (%8.04) pozitif bulunmuştur. Dominant seragrup olarak L. sejroe (%82.46) ve L. grippotyphosa (%17 .54) belirlenmiştir. Diğer seragruplarla pozitif reaksiyon veren serum örneğine rastlanmamıştır. Belirlenen bu seragruplar doğrultusunda hazırlanan hivalan aşı, laboratuvar hayvanlarında ve sığırlarda uygulanmıştır. Uygulanan aşı laboratuvar hayvanlarında tam olarak bağışıklık verirken, sığırların ikisinin idrarlarından leptospira atımını engelleyememiştir.
