Sığırlarda Cl. Novyi Enfeksiyonu

Tunceli'de yeni ölmüş bir inekten alınan enfekte meteryal hastalık etkenini ortaya koymak için incelendi, Aerob olarak herhangi bir ajan izole edilmedi. Anaerob kültürel şartlarda Gram pozitif, çubuk şeklinde bir mikroorganizma üretildi. izole kolaniler ince şeffaf, yassı ve mavimtrak gri renkte idi. Bundan başka. kenarları düzensizdir. Bu etkenin morfolojik, "fizyolojik ve biyokimyasal karakterleri Cl. novyi'nin karekterlerine benziyordu. Fluoresan antikor tekniği ile incelendiğinde izole etkenin Cl. novyi olduğu anlaşılmıştır . Ayrıca, bu organizmaya ait buyyon kültür filtrotları beyaz farelere enjekte edilerek organizmanın toksin meydana getirip getirmediği saptandı. Enjeksiyondan sonra 24 saat içinde bütün fareler öldüler.

The lnfection of Cl.novyi in Cattle

An infected material, taken from a caw which new died at Tunceli, ıwas studied to eletermine the causative agent of the infection. No kind of agent could be isolated aerobically. Hoıwever, a microorganism ıwhich wa.s gram positive and rod-shaped, rwas grown under anaerobic conditions. isolated colonies were delicate, transparent, fiatteneel and bluish gray in color. Mareaver their cantours were irregular. The morplıological, physiological and biochemical characteristics of this microorganism were similar to the ones of Cl.novyi. After studying it 1with fluorescent antibody technique, we understood that the microorganisnı itself 1vvas Cl.novyi. In addition, broth cultural fitrates of this agent ıwere injected to ıwhite mice to find out vvlıether it secredes toxin or not. All the injected mice died in 24 hours after injection.
