Newcastle hastalığının korunma ve kontrolü

Newcastle hastalığına karşı korunma ve hastalıkla savaş ta hangi yöntemlerin nasıl ve ne zaman uygulanması gerektiği yıllardan beri kanatlı h ayvan yetiştirilen her ülkede tartışılmaktadır'. Özellikle son on yıl içinde · tavuk yetiştiriciliğinin önderliği ni yapmakta olan A.BD., İngiltere ve Hollanda gibi ülkelerde alınan önlemlere karşın Newcastle salgınlannın önemli ekonomik kayıplara yol açması sorununun güncelleşmesine neden olmuştur. Türkiye'de de Newcastle hastalığı ilk görüldüğü 1944 yılından beri zaman zaman salgınlar halinde seyretmekte ve önemli kayıplara neden olarak tavuk yetiştiriciliğinin gelişmesini engellemektedir.
