A new anthelmintic (Thibenzole). Hingly efficiend against gastro-intestinal nematades of sheep and goats

Thibenzole Merck Sharp and Dohme was found to remove % 95 - 100 Haemonchus contortus, Trichostrangylus spp. and Nematodirus .spp. of sheep at a dosage leveİ of 70 mg/kg. · of body weight. At a level of 60 mg/kg. of body weight in goats, anthelmintic efficiency was % 100 against Haemonchus contortus; %. 95 - 100 Ostertagia spp; % 90- 100 Trichostrogylus spp. and % 90 - 95 against Nematodirus spp.
