Cl. Welchii Tip C'den İleri Gelen Enterotoxoemia Hastalığının Teşhisi için Toxin Analizi Yapılacak Kaynaklar

Üzerinde otopsi yapılan 6 yaşındaki bir koyunda ince bağırsak muhtevisinde letal etki gösteren bir toksinin mevcudiyeti isbat edilememiştir. Fakat aynı koyunun periton sıvısında fare ve tavşanlarda letal etki gösteren bir toksinin mevcudiyeti isbat edilmiştir . Yapılan toksin - antitoksin - noytralizasyon testi ile periton sıvısında mevcut bu letal toksinin Cl. Welchii tip C nin beta toksini olduğu saptanmıştır. Diğer bir vak'ada koyun karaciğer ekstraktında ve bir inek kan serumunda beta toksini tesbit edilmiştir.

Detection of Beta Toxin in Cases of Cl. Welchii Type C Enterotoxaemia

In a case of el. Welchii type C enterotoxemia in sheep toxin was . not detected by toxin-anti toxin neutralisation test in the gm coni:e ı'ıt, but it was present in the peritoneal fluid. In another case of CI. Welchi type C en tero toxem ia of sheep the live r contained beta toxin. In cases of illness in a farm near Ankara in a sample of se rum rnken . fr oın a cow with fever of 40,2°C a toxin lethal far mice was found. This toxin was nutralizecl by Cl. Welchii type B and C se ra , and it was identified as beta toxin. So the disease of that cow was diagnosed as Cl. Welchii type C en tero tomia. According to theese results toxin analysis should be done from the peritoneal fluid, the organ extracts and the blood sera of the sick anirnals showing a fever higher than 40,0°C.
