Memelilerin (yabani) önemli paraziter hastalıkları-I: protozoon enfeksiyonları

Parasitic diseases of mammals (Wild)-I: protozoon ınfections

Several infections as in domestic animals are seen in wild mammals like coyote, wolf, fox, skunk, hyena, bear and bat. In these infections, parasitic infections originated from protozoons, arthropods and helmintes occupy an important place. Protozoon infections was reviewed in this chapter and it was given information about the diseases like amoebiosis, balantidiosis, giardiosis, primary amoebic meningoencephalitis (PAM), granulamatous amoebic encephalitis (GAE), hepatozoonosis besnoitiosis, toxoplasmosis, coccidiosis, cryptosporidiosis, trypanosomiasis, theileriosis, cytaxozoonosis and babesiosis.
