Dear Reader, We, as the Editorial Team of the ELT Research Journal are happy to announce the release of the second issue of 2019 volume. In this issue, there are three research articles addressing a number of issues in the field of English Language Teaching. The first article by Dinçay KÖKSAL and Pınar ÇANKAYA develops a scale to investigate perceptions on the ‘Primary Level English Language Education Program’ and it focuses on the objectives, content, teachinglearning processes and assessment of the program. By having a quantitative research design, the study presents the scale to be reliable and applicable for further studies. The second paper by Muhammed Salih TAŞDEMİR explores the role of of cultural capital in EFL classroom. To do that, the researcher has designed a mixed-method approach through a cultural capital scale and semistructured interview with the 27 teachers of English. The results show that cultural capital level of the teachers is high and four dimensions are yielded in terms of the role of the culture in classroom. Lastly, the third study of the issue by Nur GEDİK BAL explores the burnout level of EFL instructors. The study also compares statistically burnout level of the state and the private institution instructors. The results show the significant difference in two types of institutions regarding Emotional Exhaustion and Depersonalization sub-dimensions.
