Son zamanlarda bütün dünyada olduğu gibi Türkiye’de de kentsel çöküntü alanlarının yeniden kente kazandırılmasına yönelik bir dizi proje gerçekleştirilmektedir. Bursa Osmangazi ilçesi Kamberler Mahallesi’nde gerçekleştirilen Kamberler Kent Parkı kentsel yenileme projesi de bu projelerden biridir. Bu çalışmada, Bursa kent merkezi içinde düşük standartlı ve düzensiz konut dokusunun yer aldığı, çöküntü bölgesi özelliği gösteren Kamberler Mahallesi’nin bir kent parkına dönüşüm süreci ele alınmaktadır. Bu süreçte bir kent parkı örneğinde kentsel yenileme projesinin fiziksel ve sosyalboyutları üzerinde durulmaktadır. Kent Parkı’na dönüşen Kamberler Mahallesi’nde ve çevresinde yaşanan fiziksel ve sosyal değişimin yanında, Kent Parkı projesinin uygulama sonrasında, park kullanıcılarının projeye yönelik algıları, parktan yararlanma biçimleri ile değerlendirmeleri çalışma kapsamında araştırılmıştır.

A number of projects about re-use of urban ruined regions are carried out also in Turkey as in the world in recent years. The urban regeneration project “Kamberler Urban Park” which is realised in the Kamberler Neighbourhood in Osmangazi District of Bursa Province is one of these projects. In this study, the transformation period of Kamberler Neighbourhood which is characterized as ruined region with its low standard and its irregular settlement within city centre Bursa into an urban park will be highlighted. During this period, the physical and social aspects of urban regeneration project will be emphasized within the scope of urban park example. Beside physical and social transformation in Kamberler Neighbourhood and around that are transformed to an Urban Park, and after implementation of the project, the perception of parkusers for the project and their evaluation are searched within the scope of this study.
