Çalışmanın hedefi, çevresel özelliklerin (rekabetçi baskı ve çevresel belirsizlik) KKP sistemi uygulama başarısı ve organizasyonel performans üzerindeki etkilerini analiz etmektir. Bu amaçla 236 firmadan elde edilen veri, regresyon kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Analizden elde edilen bulgular, (1) çevresel özelliklerin KKP uygulama başarısı ve algılanan organizasyonel performans üzerinde pozitif ve istatistiki olarak anlamlı bir etkisinin bulunduğunu, (2) KKP uygulama başarısının, organizasyonel performansı istatistiki olarak anlamlı bir biçimde açıkladığını ve (3) algılanan organizasyonel performansın açıklanmasında çevresel özelliklerle birlikte KKP uygulama başarısı da dikkate alındığında, tüm değişkenlerin istatistiki olarak anlamlı olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of environmental characteristics (competitive pressure and environmental uncertainty) on the implementation success of ERP systems and organizational performance. For this purpose, the data obtained from 236 firms via questionnaire were analyzed using regression. Findings obtained from analysis showed that (1) competitive pressure and environmental uncertainty have a positive and statistically significant effects on the implementation success and perceived organizational performance, (2) the implementation success of ERP has a positive and statistically significant effect on the organizational performance, and (3) when the implementation success of ERP together with environmental characteristics were taken into consideration in explaining the perceived organizational performance, all of the variables were significantly meaningful.
