Swyer-James (MacLeod ) sendromu

Swyer-James Macleod Sendromu, ana bronşial hava yolu tıkanması olmadan tek akciğer lobunun havalanma fazlalığı ile hiperlusens görünümü ve azalmış vaskularite ile karakterize radyolojik bir durumdur. Genellikle tekrarlayan akciğer enfeksiyonlarından sonra tanı almaktadır. Tekrarlayan pnömoni öyküsü ile başvuran ve fizik muayene, akciğer grafisi, akciğer yüksek rezonanslı bilgisayarlı tomografisi ve perfüzyon sintigrafisi ile Swyer-James (MacLeod) sendromu tanısı alan 12 yaşında erkek olgu literatür bilgileri ışığında tartışmak amacıyla sunulmuştur.

Swyer-James (MacLeod ) syndrome

Swyer-James (Macleod) Syndrome is a radiologic condition characterized by hyperlucency of one lobe of lung and decreased vascularisation not due to an obstruction of the main bronchial airway. Patients are mostly diagnosed after recurrent lung infections. A 12-year-old boy with a history of recurrent lung infections who was diagnosed with Swyer- James (MacLeod) Syndrome on the basis of findings on X-ray chest, high resolution contrast tomography of chest and radionuclide perfusion lung scan was presented.
