Bu çalışmada Fournier gangreni saptanan 2 çocuk olgu sunulmuştur. İlk olgu, kronik böbrek yetmezliği ve idrar yolu infeksiyonu nedeniyle izlemde olan 7 yaşında bir erkek olgu, ikinci olgu ise, bir aylık prematürite ve hastalığın ortaya çıkmasından 36 saat önce geçirilmiş bilateral inguinal herni onarımı operasyon öyküsü olan erkek olgudur. Her iki olgu da septik tablo içinde başvurdu. İki gün sonra skrotumlarında demarkasyon hattı veren nekroz gelişti. Nekrotik materyalden yapılan kültür antibiyogram incelemelerinde aynı patojenler farklı kombinasyonlarda izole edildi. Olgular agresif cerrahi debridman, geniş spektrumlu sistemik antibiyotik ve topikal antiseptik kullanımıyla başarılı bir şekilde tedavi edilip sekelsiz olarak taburcu edildiler.

In this study the authors present two cases with Fournier's gangrene in children; one of them a 7-year old boy on follow up with chronic renal failure and urinary infection. Second was one-month old neonate boy who had predisposing factors including prematurity and bilateral inguinal hernia repair 36 hours before the onset of the disease. Both of them were admitted in septic condition. Two days later necrosis with demarcation line developed in their scrotums. The organisms cultured from the necrotic materials in both patients were similar, but in different combinations. They were successfully treated without any morbidity by using aggressive surgical debridement, broad-spectrum systemic antibiotics, and topical applications of antiseptic ointments.
