Bu araştırma ile, işbirlikli öğrenme yönteminin üniversite öğrencilerinin optik dersine yönelik tutumlarına ve yönteme yönelik diğer duyuşsal ürünlerine etkisinin araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada kontrol guruplu yarı deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırma, işbirlikli öğrenme tekniklerinin kullanıldığı 22 kişilik deney ve geleneksel öğretimin kullanıldığı 22 kişilik kontrol grubu üzerinden sekiz hafta yürütülmüştür. Veri toplama aracı olarak Optik Dersi Tutum Ölçeği ve öğrenci kompozisyonlar kullanılmıştır. Sonuçta, deney grubu öğrencilerinin optik dersine yönelik tutumlarının arttırdığı fakat bu artışın kontrol grubundaki öğrencilerin tutumlarındaki artış ile karşılaştırıldığında anlamlı olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte, öğrencilerin işbirlikli öğrenmeye yönelik olumlu duyuşsal ürünler geliştirdiği ortaya çıkarılmıştır.

By this research, it was intended to reveal the effects of the cooperative learning method on the undergraduate students' attitude towards optics course and affective products towards this method. Controlled group semi - experimental model was used. Cooperative learning techniques used in experimental group (N=22) and traditional teaching method applied to control group (N=22) throught eight weeks. Data were received from Attitude Scale of the Optics Course and students' composition. It was found that both experimental and contrrolled groups' attiude was improved and there was no differences between two groups. However, it was revealed that the students have developed positive affective products towards the cooperative learning.
