KEBAN BARAJ GÖLÜ’NDE YAŞAYAN Capoeta umbla (HECKEL, 1843) VE Capoeta trutta (HECKEL, 1843) TÜRLERİNİN SİNDİRİM SİSTEMİ İÇERİKLERİ
Bu çalışmada, Keban Baraj Gölü’nden yakalanan 80 adet Capoeta umbla (Heckel,1843) ve 82 adet Capoeta trutta (Heckel,1843) bireylerinin sindirim sistemi içerikleri Nisan 2009-Mart 2010 tarihleri arasında aylık olarak incelenerek beslenme rejimleri karşılaştırılmıştır. Bu örneklerin sindirim sistemi içerikleri analizleri sonucunda tespit edilen organizmalar, geometrik önem indeksi (GII) metodu kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Her iki tür balığın sindirdim sistemi içeriğinde baskın olan bitkisel besin çeşitlerinden en önemlileri Cyclotella, Cymbella ve Cocconeis cinslerine ait türler olurken, hayvansal olanlardan ise Keratella, Daphnia ve Cyclops cinslerine ait türler ilk sırada yer almıştır. GII metodu sonucuna göre her iki balık türü omnivor beslenme özelliği göstermesine rağmen sindirim içeriğinde bitkisel organizmaların daha bol olması dikkat çekmiştir.
THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM CONTENTS OF Capoeta umbla (HECKEL, 1843) and Capoeta trutta (HECKEL, 1843) Species LIVING IN KEBAN DAM LAKE (TURKEY)
In this study the stomach contens of 80 Capoeta umbla (Heckel,1843) and 82 Capoeta trutta (Heckel,1843) caught from Keban Dam Lake between April 2009-March 2010 have been examined monthly and their feeding habits were compared. The analyses of organisms determined from the digestive system contents were examined by using Geometric Importance Index(GII)method. Cyclotella, Cymbella and Cocconeis species were dominant plant organisms in both fish digestive systems, while Keratella, Daphnia ve Cyclops species were took the first place as animal organisms. As the GII assay results showed that both of these fish species are omnivorous, the plant organisms in the digestive contents of fish were noted to be more abundant.
