ULUSLARARASI REKABET GÜCÜNÜN ARTIRILMASINDA TEMEL DEVLET POLİTİKALARI

Uluslararası rekabet gücü kavramı, bir ülkenin sahip olduğu firmaların uluslararası piyasalarda başarılı olma yeteneği ile birlikte devletin vatandaşlarının yaşam standartlarını ve yaşam kalitesini artırması anlamına gelmektedir. Bu bağlamda devletler ülkelerinin rekabet gücünü artırmak ve bu artışı sürdürülebilir bir hale getirmek için firma destekli ve piyasa ekonomisi tabanlı politikalar izlemelidir. Çalışmanın ilk kısmında rekabet gücü teorisi ve rekabet gücünü belirleyen faktörler ele alınmaktadır. Son kısmında ise uluslararası rekabet gücünün artırılmasında devletin izlemesi gereken roller açıklanmaktadır. Bir devletin temel varlık sebebi vatandaşlarının refah seviyesini ve yaşam kalitesini artırmak ve bu artışın sürdürülebilir olmasını sağlamaktır. Bu varlık sebebini gerçekleştirebilmenin yolu sürdürülebilir bir uluslararası rekabet gücü artışı yakalamaktır. Sürdürülebilir bir rekabet gücü artışı için devlet kamu kesiminin etkinliğini artırmaya ve makro ekonomik reformları oluşturulmasına ve sürdürülmesine yönelik olmak üzere iki temel politikayı gerçekleştirmelidir

The concept of international competitiveness means the ability of achieving success of firms in one country in international markets, so as to provide country’s people to improve their living standards and quality of life. In this context, governments must pursue market based economy policies in cooperation with firms to improve country’s competitiveness and sustain this growth. In the first chapter of this study, competitiveness theory and factors which determine competitiveness are given. In the last part, the role of government fostering international competitiveness is explained. The basic existence reason of a government is to improve its citizens welfare and life quality and to achieve be sustainable them. The way of realizing this existence reason is to provide sustainable competitiveness increase. Governmet must improve public sector effiency and build macro economic reforms and sustain it for sustainable competitiveness increase as two basic politics
