Akut lenfoblastik lösemide izole optik sinir tutulumu: Olgu sunumu

Lösemik optik sinir infiltrasyonu pediatrik akut lenfoblastik lösemi olgularının %1,4'ünde görülürken, erişkin akut lenfoblastik lösemi olgularında oldukça nadirdir. Optik sinir infiltrasyonu sıklıkla santral sinir sistemi tutulumu ile birliktedir. Burada, remisyonda olup, santral sinir sistemi tutulumu olmaksızın izole optik sinir tutulumu olan ve radyoterapi uygulanan erişkin bir olgu sunulmuştur.

Isolated optic nerve involvement in acute lymphoblastic leukemia: Case report

Leukemic optic nerve head infiltration occurs in 1.4% of pediatric cases of acute lymphoblastic leukemia, but is rare as a presenting sign in adults. Optic nerve infiltration is often associated with central nervous system involvement. We present an adult case in systemic remission with isolated optic nerve infiltration without central nervous system involvement treated with orbital radiotherapy.
