Each company must establish business strategies that differentiate itself from its competitors. However, generating business strateges olane does not insure the achievement of these organizational guidelines. It is emperetavive that business organizations develop structured ways that facilitate determining the effect of functional departments on accomplishing organizational strtegies. In this paper, a methodology is developed to translate business strategy attributes into manufacturing strategies and action plans by employing fuzzy quality function deployment and multi-obective programming. The proposed approach could be used as a decision support tool by generating many alternatives in strategy development process.
