Change of Nursing in the Light of Complexity Science: Quantum Theory and Complex Adaptive Systems

Complexity means ‘difficult to understand and do’ because of a majority of the number of elements and diversity in required actions, ‘complexity' has become a science with the development of quantum physics and chaos theory. Evaluation of health systems as a complex system requires a well understood and considered context of complexity science models and theories. This article aims to evaluate the conceptual dimensions of especially quantum theory and complex adaptive system as a complex science, giving definitions and antecedents, if so developing discussion in the context of nurse and nurse managers, also contribute to the understanding of complexity science as well.
