Yeni Ürün Geliştirme Takımlarında Hata Yönetimi

Tüketici istek, ihtiyaç ve taleplerinin hızla değişmesi, gelişmekte olan yeni teknolojiler ve firmalar arasındaki yoğun rekabet firmalardaki ürün geliştirme projelerinin ve faaliyetlerinin başarısını giderek daha kritik bir öneme taşımıştır. Bu çerçevede araştırmalar ürün geliştirme takımlarının başarısına etki eden faktörler üzerinde yoğunlaşmaktadır. Ancak özellikle başarılı bir hata yönetiminin firma performansı üzerindeki etkisinden çokça bahsedilmesine rağmen, ilginç bir şekilde ürün geliştirme takımlarında hata kavramı ile ilgili literatürde çok az sayıda çalışma bulunmaktadır. Bu nedenle takım seviyesinde ürün geliştirme faaliyetleri boyunca hata yönetim sürecinin açıklanmasında çok fazla yol alınamadığı ve daha fazla araştırmaya ihtiyaç duyulduğu dikkat çekmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı ürün geliştirme takımları bağlamında hata yönetimine ilişkin derinlemesine literatür analizi sunularak teorik ve ampirik araştırmalara destek sağlamaktır.

Error Management in New Product Development Teams

Changing customer needs, desires, and demands, emerging technologies and intense competition among firms have rendered the success of new product development projects and activities more critical. In this respect, past studies focused on factors influencing product development teams success. However, interestingly, although it is widely mentioned about the impact of succesful error management on firm performance, a few studies investigate the error concept on new product development team level. Therefore, it attracts attention that there is not much proceeded on this area to explain the learning process from errors in new product development teams and that more research is needed. In this context, the purpose of this study is to contribute to the empirical and experimental studies on error management in new product development teams
