Yusuf Ziya Yörükân, Cumhuriyetin ilk yıllarında yaşayan ve branşı hadis olmayan bir akademisyendir. Yaşadığı dönemde oryantalistlerin hadisle ilgili iddialarının etkili olduğu görülmektedir. Yusuf Ziya -hadisçi olmamasına rağmen- hadisle ilgili birçok konuyu ele almış ve oryantalistlere cevap vermeye çalışmıştır. Bu makalede Yusuf Ziya’nın hadis ve sünnetle ilgili görüşleri değerlendirmeye gayret ettik.

Yusuf Ziya Yörükân has lived in the early years of Republic and is acedemician who his branch isn’t the science of hadith. In his lived era, it is seen that the claims concerninig hadith relating to orientalits are effective. In spite of non-hadithst Yusuf Ziya has dealed with a lot of themes concerning hadith and has endeavored to reply the orientalists. In this article we appreciated the opinions concerning hadith and sunna relating to Yusuf Ziya.
