KUR’AN’DA TANRILAR

Dominiken tarikatına mensup bir rahip ve İslam konusunda incelemeler yapan Fransız bir bilim adamı olan Guy Monnot'nun bu yazısında Kur'an'daki "ilah" kavramını analiz etmektedir. Dört bölümden oluşan bu makalede, politeist bir ortamda ortaya çıkan İslam'ın nasıl monoteizmi ön plana çıkardığı meselesi irdelenmektedir. Kur'an ayetlerinden hareketle bu evrimin seyrini belirlemeye çalışan yazar, "ilah" ve "Allah" kavramları arasındaki ilişkiyi ve bu konudaki tartışmaları öz bir biçimde ortaya koymaya çalışmaktadır

Gods In The Qur’an

In this paper, Guy Monnot, a dominican priest and a French scientist leading studies about Islam, analyses the concept of “ilah” in the Qur’an. This paper examines in four parts the question about the way in which Islam, born in a polytheist environnement give prominence to monotheism. On the basis of the Qur’anic verses, Monnot tries to define the main lines of this process by determining the relations between the concepts of “ilah” and “Allah” and taking in consideration the discussions on this subject
