İKİNCİ DİL EDİNİMİ ÇALIŞMALARINDA BİLGİSİYAR DESTEKLİ BİR TÜRK ÖĞRENİCİ İNGİLİZCESİ DERLEMİ: ICLE*’NİN BİR ALTDERLEMİ OLARAK TICLE

Öğrenici derlemi birbiriyle yakından bağıntılı dört alanın kesişim noktasında yeralmaktadır: derlem dilbilim, dilbilim kuramı, ikinci dil edinimi ve yabancı dil öğretimi (Granger, 2009). Uluslararası Öğrenici Derlemi (ICLE) gibi bir derlem, bualanlara aradil gelişimini etkileyen çeşitli değişkenleri incelemeye yarayacak bolmiktarda veri sağlar. Bu çalışmanın amacı, aradil alanında çalışmalara katkısağlaması amacıyla hazırladığımız ve Belçikada Université catholique de Louvaintarafından yayınlanan ve ICLE’ bir altderlemi olarak sunduğumuz UluslararasıTürk Öğrenici Derlemini örneklerle tanıtmaktır

A TURKISH LEARNER CORPUS OF ENGLISH IN SECOND LANGUAGE ACQUISITION STUDIES: TICLE AS A SUBCORPUS OF ICLE

Learner corpus (LC) studies are situated at the crossroads of four interrelated subjects: corpus linguistics, linguistic theory, second language acquisition, and foreign language teaching (Granger, 2009). A LC, like International Corpus ofLearner English (ICLE), contributes to these fields with the abundance of hands-onmaterial enabling the researchers to examine various variables that could affectEnglish interlanguage. This study aims at introducing Turkish International Corpusof Learner English (TICLE), which has recently been published by Universitécatholique de Louvain in Belgium, as a subcorpus of ICLE with samples from theactual corpus
