İki farklı kemik greftinin histopatolojik olarak incelenmesi
Bu çalışma, demineralize kemik matriksinin jel formu ile solventlerle dehidrate edilmiş kansellöz kemik çipslerinin yeni kemik oluşumu üzerine etkilerinin araştırılması amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmamız 3 aylık 20 adet dişi rat üzerinde yapılmıştır. Çalışmaya dahil edilen 20 rat her biri 10 rattan oluşan 2 gruba ayrılmıştır. Ratların femurları üzerine kemik kaviteleri açılarak I. gruptaki ratlara demineralize kemik matriksinin jel formu, I. gruptaki ratlara solventlerle dehidrate edilmiş kansellöz kemik çipsleri uygulanmıştır. 4 ve 8 haftalık dönemlerde, femurlar çıkarılarak histopatolojik incelemeye alınmışlardır. Çalışmamızda; demineralize kemik matriksinin gerek kısa gerekse uzun dönemde solventlerle dehidrate edilmiş kansellöz kemik çipslerinine göre yeni kemik oluşumunu indüklemede daha etkili olduğu saptandı.
Investigation histopathologically of two different bone grafts
This study was carried out to investigate the effects of demineralized bone matrix in gel form and cancellous bone chips dehydrated with solvents, on new bone formation. This study was conducted on 20 female rats of 3 months. Twenty rats included into the study were divided into 2 groups, each comprising 10 rats. Bone cavities were opened up on femurs of the rats, and demineralized bone matrix in gel form was applied to the rats in group I and cancellous bone chips dehydrated with solvents to those rats in group II. At the periods of 4 and 8 weeks, femurs were removed and investigated histopathologically. In our study, it was observed that demineralized bone matrix, whether in short or long terms, was more effective in inducing new bone formation with respect to cancellous bone chips dehydrated with solvents.
