Ganglion

Ganglion terimi; İlk defa Milat’tan sonra 2. yüzyılda Roma da yaşamışYunan Fizikçi Galen tarafından sinir kompleksi olarak tanımlanmış vehalen periferik sinir sistemi hücrelerinin bir arada bulunması olarak ifadeedilir. Bu makalede; ganglionların yapısı ve fonksiyonları gözdengeçirilmiştir

Ganglion

The celebrated 2nd century Greek physician Galen who lived and worked in Rome first used the word ganglion to denote a nerve complex. Ganglion still is used to refer to an aggregation of peripheric nerve cell bodies. In this article, structures and functions of ganglion is reviewed.
