Ailevi Akdeniz Ateşi ve Crohn hastalığı birlikteliği
Ailevi Akdeniz Ateşi otozomal resesif geçiş gösteren, kısa, akut, kendini sınırlayan ateş ve poliserozit atakları ile ka rakterize bir hastalıktır. Akdeniz çevresindeki ülkelerde daha sık görülmektedir. İnflamatuar barsak hastalığı; ba ğırsağın kronik idiopatik inflamasyonla ilişkili Ülseratif kolit ve Crohn hastalıklarını tanımlamak için kullanılmaktadır. Ailevi Akdeniz Ateşi tanısı ile takip edilen ve son 20 güne kadar yakınması olmayan olgunun ateş ve karın ağrısı, sağ diz ve ayak bileğinde şişlik yakınmaları olmuş. Olgu kolşisin tedavisi almakta idi. Ayırıcı tanıda inflamatuar barsak hastalıklarını dışlamak için yapılan endoskopik ve histopatolojik incelemede Crohn hastalığı tespit edildi. Bu olgu Ailevi Akdeniz Ateşi ve Crohn Hastalığı birlikteliğine dikkat çekmek için sunulmuştur.
Association of Familial Mediterranean Fever and Crohn’s disease
Familial Mediterranean fever is an autosomal recessive, short, acute, self-limiting disease characterized by attacks of fever and polyserositis, which is common in countries around the Mediterranean. Inflammatory bowel disease is a term used to describe Ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease that associated with chronic idiopathic inflam matory. The patient had FMF but she had been well until approximately 20 days before admission, when malaise, fever, abdominal pain, right knee and ankle edema devel oped. She was taking colchicine. The patient diagnosed as Crohn Disease by endoscopy and histopathology. This case report is presented to emphasize the association of two diseases.
