TAVŞANLARDA MAKSİLLER GENİŞLETME VE RELAPS: DENEYSEL ÇALIŞMA

Bu çal mada, devaml kuvvet uygulayan bir aparey ile üst çene geni letmesi yap lmas ve ard ndan geni letme apareylerinin ç kar lmas ile maksiller geni likte elde edilen art lar n nüksünün incelenmesi plananm t r. Bu amaçla, 10 tane 3 ayl k erkek Yeni Zelanda tav an kullan lm , deneklerin üst çenesinden ölçü alnarak geni letme ayg tlar yap lm ve a3za tatbik edilmi tir. $ki yüz elli gram devaml kuvvet uygulayan bu apareyle 2 hafta boyunca geni letme yap lm ,daha sonra apareyler ç kar larak 4 haftal k relaps periyoduna geçilmi tir. Ba lang ç (T0), geni letme sonras(T1) ve takip sonu (T2) maksiller geni likler alç modeller üzerinde kumpasla ölçülerek, e le tirilmi t-testi ile kar la t r lm t r. Sonuçta; uygulanan ekspansiyon ayg t ile tav anlar n maksiller geni liklerinde ortalama 1.94 milimetre art oldu3u, fakat takip döneminde bu art n % 79.27’sinin geriye döndü3ü tespit edilmi tir
