Bu çalışmada 2005:01-2015:06 dönemi için Türkiye ekonomisinde hasıladakiartışların işsizlik üzerindeki etkisi araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla ARDL ve NARDL yöntemlerikullanılmıştır. Çalışmada tahmin edilen modele fiyat değişkeni de ilave edilmiştir. Hasılanınişsizlik üzerine etkisinin asimetrik olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Fiyatlar ile işsizlikarasındaki ilişki ise simetriktir. Hasıla artışlarının uzun dönemde işsizliği anlamlı olaraketkilediği, kısa dönemde ise etkinin simetrik olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Okun Kanunu, ARDL, NARDLJEL Sınıflandırması: C13, C22, E32This study investigates the impact of output increases on unemployment inthe Turkish economy for the sample period of 2005: 01-2015: 06. For this purpose bothARDL and NARDL methods were employed. The price variable is also included in thefitted model. Results revealed that the impact of output on unemployment is asymmetric,whereas the relationship between prices and unemployment is symmetrical.
