Küreselleşme Sürecinde Egemenlik

Egemenlik, devletin üç temel kurucu öğesinin en önemlilerinden birisidir. Diğer iki öğeyi “ülke” ve “ulus” (halk) oluşturmaktadır. Ancak egemenlik devleti devlet yapan, ona kişiliğini kazandıran güç olması nedeniyle diğer öğelerden ayrılmaktadır. Bu çerçevede çalışmamızda öncelikle egemenlik kavramının literatürdeki yeri aydınlatılmaya çalışılmış, onun hem niteliklerine hem de tarihsel gelişimine değinilerek “ulus” ve “küreselleşme” ile ilişkisi irdelenmiştir.

Sovereignty in the Process of Globalization

Sovereignty is one of the three most important founding elements of a state. “Country” and “nation” (public) constitutes the other two elements. However, sovereignty distinguishes from the others as it is the force that forms the state and creates its quality. In this context, the place of the concept of sovereignty in the literature has been tried to be enlightened, and its relation with “nation” and “globalization” has been studied dealing with its historical development from the point of view of both its characteristics and its source.
