Bu çalışmada, Yeni Deprem Yönetmeliği (TDY-98) incelenmekte ve getirdiği rijit diyafram, planda ve düşeyde düzensizlikler, göreli kat ötelemeleri ve ikinci mertebe etkileri, gibi yeni kavramlar irdelenmektedir. Ayrıca Eşdeğer Deprem Yükü ve Mod Birleştirme Yöntemi ile bulunan sonuçlar karşılaştırılmaktadır. Diğer bir karşılaştırma statik Rayleigh oranı ve serbest titreşim analizinden bulunan temel periyotlar arasında yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmada perdelerin elemanter geniş kolon olarak modellenmesi sonuçları da karşılaştırılmaktadır. Tüm uygulamalar genel amaçlı SAP90 programı ile çözülmektedir.

In this work, the New Turkish Earthquake Code is' studied and the new concepts such as rigid diaphragm floor model, structural irregularities in the plane and in the elevations, relative drift of the stories and second order effects are investigated. The results obtained by the method of equivalent earthquake storey loads and mode superposition spectrum analysis are compared. Another comparison is also made between the results due to statical Rayleigh ratio and free vibration analysis for the computation of first fundamental period of the building. All the examples are solved with the aid of general purpose SAP90 computer program.
