Bu çalışmada elastik olmayan düzlemsel çelik çerçevelerin nonlineer analizi bir yöntem olan Eşdeğer Lineer Yöntem (ELY) ile yapılmış ve aynı yönteme FORTRAN dilinde bir bilgisayar programı geliştirilmiştir. Geliştirilen program ile bazı örnek problemler çözülmüş, elde edilen sonuçlar ANSYS programının sonuçları ve literatürde mevcut diğer sonuçlar ile karşılaştırılmış, sonuçların büyük ölçüde uyumlu olduğu belirlenmiştir.

An iterative method which is called Equivalent Lineer Method (ELM) is used for the nonlinear analysis of inelastic steel plane frames, and a FORTRAN program based on this method is developed. By using the program, several examples are solved, and the results are compared with the results of ANSYS package program and with the results reported in the literature. It is found that, the results of ELM are in good aggrement with the others.
