Psikolojik Araştırmalarda Dindarlığa Yaklaşım Tarzları

Bu makale psikolojik araştırmalarda dindarlıkla ilgili farklı yaklaşımları analiz etmektedir. Biz dindarlık kavramını, psikoloji alanında dindarlık ile ma- neviyat arasındaki ayrımı, dindarlığın boyutlarını ve dindarlığın ölçümünde göz önüne alınması gereken ana meseleleri açıklamak amacındayız. Dindar- lığın boyutlarını analiz ederken, dindarlığın, bireylerarası farkları dinî özellikle- re göre ele alan eğilim aşaması ile dindarlığın ifadesinde bireylerarası farklılık- lara işaret eden işlevsel aşama şeklinde iki aşamada belirginleştiğini iddia eden hiyerarşik dindarlık modeline (Tsang and McCullough 2003) başvurduk. Dindarlığın ölçümü ile ilgili olarak da ölçülen boyutların kavramsal açıklığını, dindarlık ölçüm araçlarının psikometrik yönlerini, örneklemin temsil kabiliyetini ve dindarlığı ölçen araçların kültürel hassasiyetini analiz ettik. Makale boyun- ca dindarlığın boyutlarının kişisel ruh sağlığı ve aile ruh sağlığı üzerindeki yansımaları üzerine yapılmış bazı araştırmaların sonuçlarını sunduk.
