Neonatal Kolestazın Ender Görülen Bir Nedeni: Tip IVA Koledok Kisti

Koledok kistleri ekstrahepatik ve/veya intrahepatik safra yollarının kistik dilatasyonu ile karakterize ender kolestaz nedenlerindendir. Neonatal kolestaz tanısı alan hastalarda ultrasonografi ile anatomik yapıların değerlendirilmesi, koledok kisti gibi ender görülen anormalliklerin saptanma- sını sağlayarak erken dönemde hastalığın tedavi edilmesini ve ciddi komplikasyonların gelişmesini önleyebilir. Bu vaka raporunda, neonatal kolestazın ender bir nedeni olarak Todani sınıflamasına göre Tip IVA koledok kisti olgusu sunulmuştur

A Rare Cause of Neonatal Cholestasis: Type IVA Choledochal Cyst

Choledochal cyst is a rare cause of cholestasis characteri- zed by cystic dilatation of extrahepatic and/or intrahepatic bile ducts. Sonographic evaluation of anatomical structu- res in patients with neonatal cholestasis, can detect bile duct abnormalities such as rarely seen choledochal cysts and enable treatment of the disease in the early stages which may prevent the development of serious complicati- ons. In this case report, a patient with Type IVA choledoc- hal cyst according to Todani classification which is a rare cause of neonatal cholestasis is presented
